Our client’s safety and peace of mind, is one of our main priorities. We are always focused on making sure that we take the appropriate measures to ensure that you have a safe and relaxing trip. As soon as you leave home, we are available 24 hours per day for assistance—just call our emergency number. In the country, we use satellite phones in remote areas, radios on hikes and outings, and cell phones as needed to keep our operations manager updated.

South Expeditions is a member of the “Adventure Travel Trade Association”, one of the most important organizations in the Adventure Travel industry. ATTA is a unifying voice for the industry that promotes and facilitates knowledge sharing, networking and a common vision. It also constantly defines Adventure Travel as it continues to evolve, and establishes “Best Practices” and operation standards for Travel Operators.

We are also members of the “Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics”. This is an educational, nonprofit organization committed to protecting nature, and ethnic communities from recreational impact, and at the same time it helps maintain access for recreation and enjoyment in the areas in which it works. Leave No Trace supports Ecotourism and believes that education is the best tool to promote the ideas behind a responsible travel in the world.
